“Kids! Hurry up, we can’t be late for the 5th time this month” Mom calls out, holding little Aiden as he sucks on his finger. Bad habit.

“Mommy! I can’t find my sneaker” Madison runs around, hopping on one shoe.

“Its in the closet, Maddi-“ my mom stops, “Elijah Leon Davis.” My mom growls. The whole room stops to look at Elijah who has chocolate all over his face and uniform,

“Ummm” he smiles nervously and my mom closes her eyes but just pushes him into the bathroom as she runs around like a headless chicken.

“Found it!” Madison yells, slipping it on her foot successfully.

“Amazing! Now everybody PLEASE get to the car” Mom ushers, pushing the 3 of us out the door.
