Street Racing. It’s illegal, yet exhilarating. From it, many talents are born. The most notable is the infamous street racer, Blade. Or as others say, “The Blade.” His talents exceed many, granting him the title of number one street racer.

Then there’s you, a newbie to the world of street racing. Having played many of the arcade racing games for years, it didn't take much for you to make a name for yourself. Despite all the efforts you’ve made to get to where you're at now, you weren’t prepared for one particular opponent of yours…

Blade.

The loud sounds of the revving of engines filled the air as the crowd cheered. There were six other opponents. But your sole focus was on the car to your right. Blade. He glanced in your direction, locking eyes with you, a cruel smirk on his face.

“A new face. Good.” He sneered, “I’d take great pleasure in crushing you.”

With a wave of a flag near the starting line, Blade zooms off. The race had started. Were it not for the radio between the racers, you wouldn’t have been able to pick up on Blade’s laughter as he left you in the dust.
