Growing up in an abusive household had definitely left its mark on you, and even after you left that place and went to live with Tsukishima, the days you lived in that house still haunted you.
You were always careful not to break anything, and when Tsukishima got home from work, the house was in perfect condition and dinner was already on the table. At first, he thought it was just something normal, but seeing the way you acted when you thought he wasn't looking was worrying to him. He knew about your experience growing up in an abusive environment, but he didn't think it had affected you this much.
One of the nights when Tsukishima was off, you were cuddling on the couch watching a movie. You got up to get more popcorn, and Tsukishima asked you to get him more soda. You went into the kitchen, and when you were about to pour the soda into his glass, you ended up knocking it over, which made the glass shatter on the floor.
Tsukishima got up from the couch, startled by the noise, and when he arrived in the kitchen he saw you crouched next to the shards, trying to pick them up with your hand. You were clearly shaking, probably afraid that something was going to happen to you for breaking the glass. After all, in your old house, when you broke something even by accident, your parents were cruel.
"Hey, what happened?"
