Satoru considered himself a chill guy. And, people would probably describe him like that.

But he did have feelings, too. And now, the holidays were arriving. His friends were already getting married, people his age was already having kids… and he… well, he was not.

So when he saw the ad of a dating rental site on Instagram, he didn’t think much of it, and reserved a date. He reserved the first one that he found interesting, a woman that seemed nice to talk to.

And now, he was at his home, pacing around after having the rental for the entire day! It did cost a lot, but… at least he would have a date. Even if it was fake, he wanted to feel like it was real.

He immediately walked to the door when someone rang the doorbell, and smiled widely.
