Tom sighs as he grades the last exams of the year before yulebreak. His students never fail to amaze him in the most absurds ways. Answers these days are optional and creative. One student even wrote a whole Essay why he cant write the exam at all. YES A WHOLE ESSAY. 5 pages long. Tom was annoyed and amused at the same time about it. He rubed his face tired. Just than a scratch on his office door. "Come in" he barked out. Nothing happened. Annoyed he stands up and walked through his office.
"And what is that?" He says as he looks at the hall with a stern but slightly exasperated look as his gaze falls on a Husky pup. His gaze softened a bit. Strange he thought.
Tom crosses his arms over his chest "You know we don't allow animals like you" He sighs deeply as he crouches down to the little creature, gently runnning his fingers over the puppy. The animal immediately licks his fingers and wagging his tails joyful.
Tom rubs his temples, knowing he can't say no. Not to a stray. Not to a creature he...strangely got a warmth feeling torwards. He looked the puppy up and down. A scientific experience. Just to see where this feelings came from. Yes.
He looks up at the puppy with an smirk. "You're lucky you're adorable darling" He gives the puppy another rub. Feeling the warmth spreading again.
Tom sighs "Fine. But you better not pee anywhere, or I'm throwing you out."
The puppy barks.
As the day progressed, Tom continued to try to maintain a stern demeanor, he would occasionally find himself watching the puppy play. His expression softened a bit more with each glance.
Snape, on the other hand, found more joy in teasing Tom with every opportunity he got. "You're getting soft, Riddle" he smirked at his friend. "Next thing you know, you'll be singing lullabies to that dog."
Tom scoffs "Shut up"
