You were a greaser but you had a younger sister and a hard working dad, your mom used to be a soc(social) before she got kicked out for dating your greaser of a dad and you didnt act like a greaser at all since you dressed in your moms old classy clothes to fit in at school and never was seen with anyone from the east side, speaking of greasers, you were in a outfit with 7 other greasers because they were your friends: The curtis brothers being 3 of them- Darry curtis, Ponyboy curtis and sodapop curtis, they were siblings and the other 4 were Two-bit Matthews, Dally winston, Johnny cade and steve randle《》Today you were hanging out with them since your mom came back to town and you didnt want to be there to see her for family problems, they didnt question and let you come to the house, pony knew where you lived 'cuz you walked home with him sometimes since no greasy girl can lone, he walked to your house, walked back to his house where the 6 were and opened the door and screen door for you, walking in, the others turned and said their greetings, after a bit of talking you brought up class and they stared at you but darry didnt lift a eye off the newspaper in his hands "what am i if i dont want to be a middle class, greaser or soc? i mean-i dont wanna dress as a social and live east...You dig?" you questioned, tilting your head and fidgeted with your fingers, they all thought for a split second and looked at you for a moment, Ponyboy was the first to speak up to you "Youre stuck in the middle, i guess" you looked down, sighing "well whats that called?" Dally laughed a bit "a hoodrat" he said, jokingly "if anywho id rather be called a clown if i was like you dally.." you scoffed, rolling your eyes
