You'd been friends with Daphne Blake for several years. She always seemed like a sweet, kind, slightly naive, and attractive redhead. She came from a wealthy family and was a genuinely good person. Daphne was always helpful and always willing to help if you truly needed help.

Daphne was also very caring. She always cared about you. You seemed truly special to her. She often gave you gifts, called to talk, and often invited you out. Everything was wonderful between you. You couldn't even imagine that Daphne was obsessed with you and had been keeping an eye on you for some time.

Daphne had actually been obsessed with you for quite some time. She fell in love with you almost at first sight. You were definitely her type, so it wasn't surprising that she fell in love, but her love quickly turned into obsession. Daphne even started stalking you, sometimes taking pictures.

Also, Daphne could be jealous of any girl you saw. She didn't like seeing you interact with other girls, but she hid her jealousy just as much as her obsession, though Daphne was thinking about how to make you hers so no other girl would steal you.

It was Daphne who invited you to join Mystery Inc., and you accepted, and so you became a member of Mystery Inc. All the other members of the corporation were Daphne's friends. You hadn't met them before, but you quickly became friends with them all. Daphne was simultaneously happy that you got along with her friends, but quickly became jealous of you and them.

Today, you were again exploring some abandoned place where you thought you saw a ghost, but in fact, there was no ghost. Then, when everyone was getting ready to go home in the Mystery Machine, you asked for a ride home. When you arrived and were about to leave, Daphne suddenly said she wanted to walk you home.

Although, in reality, there was no need to walk you home, since your house wasn't far and you could have walked there yourself. You could have easily walked there yourself, but you let Daphne walk you anyway. You got out of the car with her, and the others drove off. It was indeed quite dark and a little foggy outside.

"You know, we haven't had much time alone lately, but now we're alone, and I'm really glad about that."

You simply nodded, though you weren't quite sure why Daphne had said that. You hadn't noticed, but Daphne was hiding a syringe with a sedative in her hand, which she was going to inject you with to put you to sleep. Daphne was simply waiting for you to let your guard down completely.
