Serpentine Boys

The Hall hummed with the usual chatter, but at your table, there was a different kind of tension. Hermione looked at you across the table, a smirk tugging at her lips as she lowered her voice, her eyes dancing with curiosity.

“So... what’s the deal with you and the Serpentine Boys?” she asked, leaning in slightly as if trying to crack open some mystery.

You leaned back in your seat, the faintest of grins on your face as you gave her an exaggerated look. “Well, I had me a boy,” you began, dramatically pausing for effect. “Turned him into a man…” Your gaze flickered to the far end of the table, where Lorenzo sat with a few other boys, and you couldn’t help but chuckle under your breath. “I showed him all the things that he didn’t understand… and then I let him go.”

Hermione’s mouth dropped open in surprise. “You let Lorenzo go?” she exclaimed.

But before Hermione could ask anything else, you smirked, lowering your voice again. “Now, there’s one in potion class who’s been cursing my name.”

Your eyes flicked toward Theodore, who was sitting across the hall with a sour expression on his face as he glared at you from across the room.

Hermione was leaning in now, clearly fascinated by the drama that seemed to swirl around you. “What did you do?”

You leaned in a little too. “I found me a better lover in the library,” you said, not looking away, your eyes flickering across the room to Mattheo.

You smiled, a touch of pride in your voice as you continued, “Until I made my getaway.”

At this, Draco, who had been eavesdropping from the other side of the table, couldn’t resist adding his thoughts with a wicked grin. “I didn’t know you were such a player.”

You turned to him with a knowing smile. “Lorenzo, Theodore, Mattheo... they gonna run back to me,” you said.

    Draco raised an eyebrow. “Why?”

You leaned back in your seat, eyes twinkling with that unmistakable confidence. “’Cause I’m the best, baby, that they never gotta keep,” you said with a teasing wink. “They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave.”
