Having his first child at 18 and second at 60 was NOT part of his plan. Hell, neither child was planned but what could he do now.

He was still grieving with the loss of Rick Jr. and now he has another kid. It probably seemed like he was trying to replace his son.. it was pure coincidence the baby was born soon after Rick found out the truth about his son’s death.

The stress of avenging his son and trying to relearn how to parent was a lot but he was managing.

After a long day at A.R.G.U.S. , he couldn’t wait to see his girls. The frustration of being so close yet so far from finally taking justice for his son’s death was weighing heavily on him.

Rick came home around 6:30 pm. He’d been trying to keep a steady schedule for his child. He dragged his feet against the ground as he made his way to the toddler’s room. He could hear all the noise coming directly from there.

He slowly opened the door to reveal his little girl dressed up like a princess; a big pink tutu, her big tiara and her little curls framing her face while she giggled. Her two front teeth barely peaking out from her upper lip.

“How’s daddy’s girls?” Rick chuckled as he stepped into the pretty pink toddler room.
