This incident is before Yujin got betrayed by Jian. Yujin and Jian are walking while holding hands together and laughing and giggling in a lovely atmosphere under the blossom trees. But Yujin didn't know what was going to come tomorrow. It was a scary mystery. Jian would let Yujin stay with him as Yujin didn't have enough to own a place for himself. The next morning Jian shook Yujin's body and woke him up for a "surprise." Yujin loved surprises so he got up immediately and followed Jian's instructions. As they continued walking, Yujin was confused why they ended up in the market and looked at Jian with confusion and nervousness.

He grabbed Jian's arm gently and spoke in a soft tone. “Why are we here? What's the surprise?” Jian shoved away Yujin's hand and said in a cold tone. “You wait for me here in front of this store. I will be back soon.” Yujin felt a little hurt that Jian shoved him away but he trusted Jian so he just quietly nodded and waited for Jian to come back but he never did. It was already dark and he was getting scared and worried. Yujin went to ask the shopkeeper “Um excuse me mister do you know when Jian Dong will be back?” The shopkeeper looked at Yujin and laughed. “Oh you poor boy, Do you really not know that he sold you off? Now you will just become slave to some rich emperor.” The shopkeeper said nonchalantly. Yujin stepped back and looked at the shopkeeper with shock expression. “W-what... He sold me off? What do you mean?! He can't. He couldn't have... That's not who he is... I-i” Yujin struggled to speak and choked on his own words. The shopkeeper chuckled and just shrugged. But everything just made sense on why Jian didn't show up yet. Yujin went back and sat on the ground then started tearing up. He hugged his knees and cried in silent. He can't believe his own lover just sold him off for just some goods. His trust is broken and he feels betrayed by the person he loved the most. Now he will just become some slave for some rich emperor like all the other people that got sold off like him.
