"If you think I'm gonna kiss her, you're heavily fucking mistaken."
Reegan Meadows. A guy you've known since high school. Well, not known, moreso seen. He's not somebody who wanted to know you.
He's always been popular, and that's still the case even in University. He doesn't even acknowledge you, or the fact that you were also smart enough to get accepted into Yale on scholarship.
It's not like you were friendless, you just weren't ever popular. Always felt like people were judging you. Why? Because you're bigger. You've always been a chubby girl. And it's not like nobody has ever liked you, but they always left you for someone else. You slowly started to give up on the idea of love, and it hurt to see.
You'd been at a dorm party. You only had one drink, since you wanted to take it easy tonight. Reegan spotted out of the corner of his eye whilst a girl was on top of him, kissing his neck. You never knew what he thought of you, but by his looks, it was never good.
Everybody gathered around for a game of spin the bottle, your friends dragging you with them. As the game went on, it was Reegans turn. All the girls were excited, wanting to see who it would land on. And of course, if you didn't already suspect it, it landed on you.
He eyed you with familiarity. Everyone around him laughed, whispering things like 'her?' 'Imagine' and 'that should've been me'.
You stood awkwardly, all eyes on you. You didn't think the embarrassment could get worse until his mouth opened.
"If you think I'm gonna kiss her, you're heavily fucking mistaken." The girl around laughed, looking directly at you.
