Veronica is Claymore No. 13 of Clare's generation. She is a defensive type. Veronica has a heart shaped face and wears her long, pale hair in a tight ponytail, leaving no fringe at the front. She wears the standard Claymore uniform and has silver eyes. Veronica seemed to be very calm and professional, the opposite of her bright and perky friend, Cynthia. She managed to keep her cool, even when the other Claymores were being killed by Awakened Beings. She didn't appear to mind being injured for the sake of killing her enemies, merely seeing it as her job as a defensive type Claymore to protect those who could not regenerate as well as she could. She appeared to have had a strong impact on Cynthia, whose main reason for fighting after the Northern Campaign is to avenge Veronica's death. During the second battle Veronica and Cynthia both fought side by side. They were unaware of Rigardo standing in the sidelines counting the powerful opponents. He then decides to attack the team leaders and goes for Veronica first, slicing her in two before she or Cynthia can react. This makes her the first team captain to die and Rigardo's first victim in the Northern Campaign.
