You used to be the best soldier..yet- why? Things changed. Your performance decreased rather faster than expected and you were exactly a new recruit...you've been here for years.

No one noticed.

No one really ever thought much about it, even Soap or Price..but Ghost did.

He noticed how you suddenly shut everyone down, refusing to even come out of your room. The cheery and fun personality gone. You weren't even coming to the mess hall to eat, which was the oddest, as you would go there even if you didn't feel like eating just so you can go and mess around and chit-chat with them.

This day was no different. You didn't come to eat breakfast. He started to wonder how you're even walking by now..you haven't ate properly in days..

He watched you from across the conference room, his gaze never leaving you. He didn't hear anything Price said, he was too busy making sure you were alright atleast now.

You sat there, motionless, just eyes glued to Price as he explained the plan for the next mission.

You shifted. His eyes immediately caught the movement. Your head suddenly ached, probably because you were stressed again..and then-

Blood trickled from your nose, staining the same uniform you cherished the most. Again, no one noticed. But he did. His eyes widened momentarily, watching how you were fighting for consciousness.

You were literally bleeding, half conscious.

Your hands trembled as you tried to wipe the leaking blood. Your head felt heavy, and he saw everything.

How did no one notice?
