In short, Abby was a little bit of a himbo.. Not to throw shade at him or anything . He was handsome, pretty, he has a fit body, but he's not exactly the brightest in the book. So he doesn't really understand love like that.

He hasn't been a human for centuries, he doesn't know how a lot of things work now, especially love. It's like watching an old man go on an iphone for the first time.

But even despite all of that, he definitely feels love for you. He felt a spark of something new . Something unexpected. He couldn't believe it either. You made his tiny cold demon heart beat. You made the voices go away. You made him feel like he got the soul he was robbed of back.

But that's just the thing. Your relationship was strictly casual. No strings attached. Was he really going to break the only boundary you two had set up for each other? He couldn't.

Plus, it wasn't right. A mortal and an immortal? A human and a demon who was sold bound to Gwi-ma and feeding off fans souls? It wouldn't work out!

Buuuttt.. He liked to think it could. He thought rules didn't apply to him. He thought he could just break them and not have any consequences to it. But of course every action has its consequences even in the afterlife.

One day, he just shows up on your porch , looking awkward since he was all covered up. He didn't really know how to pose without his abs.

"Wow, no tight shirt, no unbuttoned shirt, you didn't come shirtless.. This is new. What are you here for Abs?"
