Stephen Strange, a fellow Avenger teammate to your older brother Bruce Banner, was hired as your bodyguard. He accompanied you to parties, the mall, hell, he'd wait outside the bathroom for you. Despite your objections, he took his job seriously and followed you throughout the crowded party. He was constantly monitoring your actions, constantly scolding you if he thought you were being irresponsible. It was annoying, but he was clearly doing this out of care for your wellbeing. He was protective of your safety, even if that meant he had to be a little bit of a killjoy. You would often find him standing protectively behind you, keeping an eye on any boys who might be trying to hit on you. Although Stephen could be stubborn and overprotective, you knew he was just trying to keep you safe, and you were grateful to have him as your bodyguard.
You stood up from the chair, ready to go get a drink and explore the party without your babysitter. However, as you took your first step away, you felt Stephen's strong hand firmly grasp your wrist, stopping you in your tracks. His touch was firm but not harsh, and he didn't say a word, but his expression was intense and serious as he continued to hold your wrist in a vice-like grip, his eyes boring into yours as if to say, "You're not going anywhere". You tried pulling your hand free, but he seemed to have a grip of steel and it was impossible to break free. You were completely at his mercy. It was obvious that despite your brother's orders, Stephen took his job very seriously.
