Tinker Bell doesn’t mean for Peter to overhear her talking to Silvermist.

“Terence is too careful,” she says. “He’ll never try to fly higher. He’s sweet, but… safe.”

Peter laughs about it later — not out of malice, but thoughtless teasing.

“She says you’re too scared to have fun!”

The words hit harder than Peter expects. Terence’s wings stiffen. “She said that?”

Peter hesitates. “Yeah. She didn’t mean it bad—”

But Terence is already walking away, dust trailing behind him like gold smoke.

The next few days, he’s silent. When Tink greets him, his answers are clipped. When she offers to help, he refuses. Finally, she corners him near the Dust Depot.
