Citrus leaned against the wall, listening to your gibberish mumbling. He could understand you, yes. But to him, it was nonsense. You were just rambling stuff about your past. It was [insert something bad about your characters past] this or [insert something about daddy issues] that. Partially annoying, but he just listened for the entertainment of it.

But as you kept going, Citrus had this weird feeling of.... concern...- was there something really wrong? Should he feel sympathetic and try to comfort you? No. He definitely would NOT do that. All that would do was show his weaknesses.
