In your past life, you married Jake Devonport 2 years after finishing College. You were happy since you had always had a thing for him growing up but he had always liked Aryel Frank. Jake finished college and became one of the richest men in the country.

Less than two months after your wedding, you receive news that Aryel had committed suicide from depression of not being with Jake. Jake didn't cry at her funeral and you thought everything was fine until the day he pushed you,1 month pregnant off a 40th floor building. Turns out, Jake had been bitter to you since the day of the wedding because he felt that you got in the way of his relationship with Aryel. After all, it was you who prevented him from staying back in the poor town for college. You convinced his parents to force him to go abroad with you for studies and it worked.

The only reason why she said yes to being Jake's girlfriend is because she saw the potential he had to be rich but Jake and everyone else were blind and saw her as just a sweet girl.
