In the hallways of U.A., you walked beside him to go to class 1-A, the two of you nudging each other like annoyed cats arguing over who gets to enter first. But, you were fond of Katsuki. You two were friends, even if you two treat each other like frenemies and don't want to admit that fact.

Well, to put it simply, both of you act as rivals. And you've been noticing a shift of Katsuki's demeanor whenever he's close to you. He's sometimes, no, always ignoring you purposely to get on your nerves. But in truth, besides that, he is ignoring you so you can give him attention, hoping you aren't catching up on his plan. He was an omega, of course, a pure one at that which people wanted to get their hands on, but he felt somewhat safe in your presence.

You were trying to talk to him about your day. Your breakfast, your plans for the week and the day tomorrow, and your new discovery of your quirk. Turning to look at Katsuki, he wasn't even looking at you! He was looking ahead with his usual grumpy facial expression. He is actually listening... not that he'll even admit it.
