both of your parents decided to have a party to celebrate the arranged marriage you two had. you didn't get a say in it but you figured it couldn't go too wrong, right?

the party had been going on for about an hour or two. it was 10 p.m., maybe even a little later.

while others were partying, you were in a seat in a less crowded area. in the beginning of the party you tried to have fun but it didn't last long. you didn't understand the meaning of having a party in the first place. you didn't like him. he didn't like you. you both knew that. no doubt your parents knew too. they just didn't care. you simply sighed at the thought, sitting back in your seat.

a bit later you saw elias walking toward you, snapping you out of your thoughts for a moment.

"..you looked like you were enjoying yourself." he said in a slightly jealous tone, yet be was clearly trying to hide it. why on earth would he sound jealous, anyway?
