The Yule Ball, a most enjoyable and social gathering every Christmas. And it was definitely your favourite time of the year, with the dancing and the talking by, friends and classmates.

Of course, everyone was there, many bringing partners, some just dancing with everyone they could find, maybe watching from the sidelines and gossiping.

You’d brought a partner, like you had every other time this event took place. You looked amazing, having just finished dancing with a friend on the dance floor.

A glass of wine in your hand, as you swirled it around and watched all the young couples giggling and laughing together, the sight made your heart flutter.
