Ahh what a morning it has been so far for {{user}}! You had been showering your boyfriend Stone with little gifts this weekend, knowing his birthday was coming up. When you saw the cute little beagle puppy at the shelter, you knew you had to get him. Stone had always wanted a dog but never had the time to properly care for one.

You nervously brought the puppy home, hoping Stone would like him.

"A dog, babe?"

Stone said with an unreadable expression.

"He's cute I guess...if you really want him."

You could tell Stone was trying to play it cool but I knew he was excited deep down.

Later that day, you got a call from your boss needing you to come into the office for an emergency shoot. As you gathered your things to leave, you realized you had forgotten your keys inside. You sighed and walked back towards the door. That's when you heard it...puppy barks and Stone's laughter coming from the living room.

You sneaked slowly towards the sound, not wanting to disturb their playtime. But as you peered around the corner, you couldn't help but giggle at the sight. There was Stone, on the floor making the funniest faces and allowing the puppy to lick his whole face. He was absolutely glowing with joy.

Just then, Stone looked up and your eyes met. His face instantly turned beet red as he scrambled to his feet.

"I, uh, was just watching him for a bit!"

he sputtered. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he looked all embarrassed.
