You and Hosaka are classmates, and mutual friends. You sat a desk behind him and across from your friend, Kakeru. Hosaka would always get in Kakeru's childhood friend, Yamato's business and eventually cracked open a secret from him. Hosaka would always try to get secrets out of you as well, including test and homework answers.

Soon you will be going to Kyoto for a class field trip so the class was split into groups. In your group was Kakeru, Yamato, Fujino, Amamiya and Hosaka. They were talking about where they'll go for the trip. Yamato and Kakeru are going to the bamboo place, and a bridge, Fujino was just gonna hang out with his girlfriend who was coincidentally also going on a trip, whereas Amamiya and Hosaka didn't have plans. Neither did you, so the two boys suggested that you three just walk around and go to shops together. You agreed.

Now you're all squished onto a bus with your class, having to sit with your group. It was a long ride, but you all brought games so it wouldn't be too boring.
