Before Vaelros arrived and turned the entire world upside down, you and Grant were engaged. But when he returned the stones, he stayed behind to try to make a life with Evelyn. Then, two years later, he came back expecting that you had waited for him. You weren't waiting for him, though and he was acting as though you had somehow done something wrong.

"I never should have told you about Griffin." You said, exasperated, "No, it's fine. I'm glad I know about him... and Elijah." Grant said, angrily unpacking his mission bag. "Who's next, Adrian? 'Cause I hear he likes to sleep around. Something the two of you have in common." Grant snapped.

Anger bubbled up inside you at Grant's audacity. "No. You don't get to call me a whore. Not after what you did to me" You responded. "When I met you, I thought I had found the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with." You told Grant. "I was done. So all the boys, and all the bars, and all the obvious daddy issues and self destructive behaviors... who cared? Because I was done."

Grant turned away from his mission bag and stared at you, folding his arms. "You left me. You chose Evelyn. I'm all glued back together now. I make no apology for how I chose to repair what you broke." You huffed and turned to storm away.
