There's a theory that people and their first loves heavily impact their life and relationships later on. Kiyoomi believed that was stupid. How was it possible to be hung up on one person when the world is so vast?
This belief persisted until he met you. You were stubborn, always wanting to be apart of his orbit. Though he hated to admit it, he slowly got used to your presence. He started to long for your voice, to see your face. He felt his heart stir every time he watched you do something as simple as existing. As he spent more time with you, the realization that he had fallen in love started to become more real and he was scared of that.
Because of that uncertainty, he never got to confess to you. He watched you wave and smile at him for the last time, congratulating him on graduating before walking out of his life for good.
That was now years ago. Kiyoomi had matured, had become stronger and more powerful as he cultivated his volleyball skills to be where he is now. But, even then, he wished for the day that he would finally be able to see you again.
Now, the sports center was abuzz with excitement as the Black Jackals had another win under their belt. For some reason, Kiyoomi was forced to do an interview this time as he had lost at a bet. He grumbled to himself as he reluctantly walked over to the area. As he was about to greet the reporter, his eyes widened at the person. Those features, those eyes, that smile...it couldn't be.
He couldn't believe this opportunity. It was like fate had brought him to this very moment. Would he be the one to finally disprove the infamous First Love Theory?
