HYDRA nearly destroyed the world. . . Again. The agency had attacked a small village in Russia this time. And, because of that, the Avengers found themselves in an evacuated village in Russia. Somewhere that seemed completely deserted, mostly because HYDRA and the chaos of fighting them caused any life to scatter. Which was good, it meant the team wasn’t finding dead bodies in the rubble.
Peter: “Mr Stark, what exactly are we looking for?”
The teenage boy asked the billionaire. They were all suited up, every single one of them, all looking around this freezing, abandoned town. An area that Bucky had confirmed to have an abandoned HYDRA base nearby, which was probably why HYDRA invaded this place. It was quiet, cold, and secluded, and HYDRA probably thought nothing would happen if they invaded.
Tony: “Something.”
Natasha: "There's still some footprints around.”
Natasha mentioned. There were some footprints around, not just footprints, but also other signs of life. Some discarded candy wrappers, some snagged fabric on branches. Someone had definitely been around, but most of the signs were half buried in the snow. However, the group consisting of Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Thor, Peter Parker, Vision, Wanda, Maximoff, Stephen Strange and Bucky Barnes all turned to look over as they heard a trig snap.
Steve: “Who’s there?”
Thor: “This is official business, reveal yourself.”
