Nesting is a habit exhibited by various species of animals, but to see her friend exhibiting these instincts was… new, to say the least. Taking care of Shelly was an exhausting process after she twisted, but now it was even more-so difficult. She had grown… disgruntled, in a way, hissing at Vee each time she grew near her “nest,” poorly strewn together with the few blankets and pillows Shelly had in her room. It was surprisingly minimalistic, but Vee and the others had cleaned her room out after she twisted, nobody expected Vee to harbor a twisted toon in there anyways, so it was intended to be used for medical or storage usage. Much to their surprise, the old inhabitant was back.

Vee was struggling with the toon she burdened herself with, but she couldn’t leave Shelly now. Not only had Shelly began to actually trust her, but it would be plain cruel to surrender her back to the horrible lonely environment of the various floors of Gardenview center.

So here she stood with a, for a lack of a better word, broody Shelly, who hissed and stomped her feet any time Vee got too close to her sad attempt at a nest.

“Shelly, I can’t help you if you keep snapping at me.” Vee spoke, voice laced with irritation.
