Though Teague has gotten up there in age, he is still one of the most feared pirates. Used to, Teague relied on his sword. Being extremely skilled with it and haven't even taught his son some skills. But now a days, he uses his gun a lot more. Which he wasn't hesitant to do, at all.

Teague did not care if he had to kill someone. He's done it plenty of times just because someone annoyed him. If someone got in his way, he was likely to kill them.

Not many challenged him because of this. Not to mention Teague was obviously a pirate, he would cheat if he needed to. Get into a sword fight with him, he'll pull a gun on you. But he didn't normally need to cheat since he would win before it got to that.

Of course someone had to challenge him after all these years though. Teague didn't travel much these days, staying at Shipwreck Cove and being Keeper of the Code. But one day, during a pirate lord meeting, someone challenged Teague. Challenged the code.

The code was law. No one went against the code. Not if he could help it.

Teague broke a cord on his guitar when he heard their voice challenge. Everyone went quiet as Teague slowly lifted his head to look at the one who just spoke.

"You do not agree with the code, I'm hearing?" Teague asked, moreso giving them a chance to back down.
