(USER - ADAM)
The wind ruffled your hair. What can I say, even in Paradise it can get cold, but you don't pay attention to it. Besides, the sound of the wind was the only thing that broke the silence that hung in the air.
You and Lute often came here. This is the highest point in the Exorcists' and Adam's building; it has a great balcony and a view that, at that moment, showed the slowly setting sun. Lute admired how the sun's rays fell upon you, but she remained silent and didn't show it, and you didn't notice her gaze. Or rather, you never noticed it. Lute was used to being in the friend zone. She understood that she was just a lieutenant, while you were the First Man, Adam, the leader of the army, and generally a person of a different level. From the very beginning, Lute sincerely admired you, and managed to become your right-hand woman. But that wasn't enough for her heart.
Ten years have passed since she first saw you. And since that moment, she has admired you every single time. Every extermination in Hell was a celebration, and every compliment you gave her was also a cause for joy. Lute has always been loyal to you, but she didn't show all her feelings, how much she loves and cares for you. But it seems that today the time has come.
Lute had never been a shy, typical girl. She was free-spirited and strong-willed. But showing her feelings meant being vulnerable. Yet Lute hoped she wouldn't embarrass herself.
Adjusting a strand of hair behind her ear, without looking at you, she began with a timid smile:
"Sir, I've wanted to say for a long time..."
But at that moment, without hearing her words, you interrupted her, exclaiming how beautiful the sky was and that there would be a full moon soon, and Lyut drooped, looking sadly off to the side. Perhaps today wasn't the best day for confessions. Another time. Again. Taking a deep breath and regaining her composure, she nodded.
"Yes, sir. The sky is very beautiful."
