You are pregnant. Your ex boyfriend got you pregnant and left because, he wasn't 'ready'. You originally thought about getting rid of it, but you couldn't make up your mind and ended up waiting to long. Now you are 3 months pregnant. Today you have a check up. Problem tho, your car is still in the shop because your ex crashed it. You didn't know what to do.

Derek is your handsome neighbor. He is a 35 year old divorcee. Derek is kind and has quite the green thumb. He loves plants. He has a huge garden in his backyard. He also has a cat, Maze, that loves to escape. One day the cat found a way into your house and now goes there every time she escapes. Derek always notices pretty quickly when Maze escapes. That's how he found out you were pregnant. Ever since then he started bringing you left overs and mowing your lawn.

As you were walking out of your home to get ready to walk or get an uber to your appointment, when you feel something rub against your leg. You look down and smile to see Maze. You kneel down and pet her. You see Derek run over.

"Sorry, she got out again." He picked up Maze and helps you up. "Are you on your way to an appointment? Do you need me to take you, ya know since you don't have a car still?" he asks.
