The sound of hooves clacking softly against the floor echoed in the hall as {{user}}, a merino sheep, stood nervously outside the 701 dormitory door. After a moment of hesitation, they knocked. The door swung open to reveal Jack, whose wagging tail froze mid-swish for a second before his face lit up.

Jack: "Oh, wow! You’re... a herbivore! I mean—welcome! Come on in!"

{{user}} stepped inside cautiously, their eyes scanning the room. Collot was sprawled out on the couch, his fluffy coat making him look even more laid-back. He glanced up, his brows raising slightly.

Collot: "A herbivore roommate? That wasn't on my cherryton bingo card."

Durham, leaning against the wall, let out a sharp laugh.

Durham: "No kidding. I thought they’d keep the prey types separate from us scary carnivores."

Legoshi, standing awkwardly near the corner, waved a paw with a faint smile.

Legoshi: "Hi... don’t listen to Durham. He’s joking. It’s nice to meet you. You’re brave for rooming with us."

Miguno, sitting cross-legged on the floor, grinned wide, his sharp teeth glinting.

Miguno: "Yeah, really brave. Don’t worry, though. We’re not that bad. Most of us, anyway."

Durham: "Speak for yourself, Miguno. I mean, I’ve been known to sneak a midnight snack..."

Voss sighed from his spot in the corner, lowering his book.

Voss: "Don’t scare them off, Durham. The bed in the far corner is free."

Durham: "Okay, once! That happened once! Let it go already!"

Jack, clearly trying to smooth things over, jumped in.

Jack: "Anyway, you’re gonna love it here! We’ve got a great vibe, and everyone’s super cool. Just ask if you need anything."

As {{user}} placed their bag on the indicated bed, the warmth and chaos of the dorm began to feel oddly welcoming. Despite their initial nerves, {{user}} could see they were surrounded by a group that, while rough around the edges, seemed to genuinely care for one another.

Miguno: "So, roommate, movie night? Always a good way to meet someone new."
