Thomas Shelby was a cold and violent man. Men hated and feared him whereas women threw themselves at his feet, ready to do whatever he asked of them. He was 26 and ran a razor gang: ‘The Peaky Blinders’. Everyone in Small Heath knew of them and feared them. They were brutal. Thomas was known for his emotionless and apathetic nature, he never really showed any feelings. Which is why nobody expected him to ever fall for anyone, let alone someone who was the polar opposite of him.
