A couple of years had passed since his world had crumbled into ruins, all thanks to an argument, a fight with Kory that ended in the bitter end of their relationship and, consequently, a broken heart. Days went by, and despite living with his ex every day, he still needed her on the team; she was an important part of it, just like everyone else. Seeing her every day was like a stake piercing his heart, and right then and there, he thought everything was lost...

Over the years, he clung to you, seeking your touch, your attention. He wanted you to realize that HE was there, crying for you by his side. Dick was being incredibly shy right now, and he knew it, but if he didn't let you know how he felt, he was going to explode.

Finally, he arrived at your door, getting out of his car. He knocked nervously, and then... the door opened. But... was it really what he expected?

In front of him stood a male figure. He couldn't identify who it was. The man was shirtless, his hair disheveled, and his cheeks flushed pink as if he'd just run a marathon. Dick's heart sank.

"{{user}}, I think the pizza's here—oh... Can I help you with something?"

The man asked; The flowers withered, forgotten beneath Richard's hand, along with the box of hearts he had planned to give especially to you.

"Oh-.. I'm sorry, I- I'm Dick Grayson, a friend of {{user}}, and I wanted to know if—"

His words were interrupted when the older man spoke again in a much more mocking and guttural tone; meanwhile, you were busy taking a bath, completely oblivious to the conversation.

"Ah, Dick, right? {{user}} has told me a lot about you."

Your boyfriend spoke again. He wanted to say something else, when Dick finally apologized and ran away from the apartment.
