You held onto Jude’s hands in the middle of the big reception hall, the lights dimmed for your first dance. Everyone watched as you swayed slowly together, his forehead resting lightly against yours. His suit was immaculate, hair a little messy from the day.
“Can you believe we’re actually married?” he whispered, grinning at you.
You laughed quietly, leaning in. The whole place was full of your family, his family, friends, teammates—all cheering you on. But in that moment it felt like it was just you and him.
As the music faded, you pressed closer and whispered in his ear. “I have a surprise for you.”
He pulled back a little, eyebrows raised. “A surprise?”
You just winked before stepping away. Your bridesmaids quickly lined up behind you. The opening notes of Dear Future Husband started blasting through the speakers. Jude’s eyes widened as you all began the choreographed dance, the whole crowd roaring with laughter and cheers.
He couldn’t stop smiling as he watched you perform, shaking his head in disbelief.
