Gaz panicked when he saw that you were shot. He quickly picked you up and ran off with you to find cover.

When you protested about Price and Ghost needing your help, Gaz simply grunted.

"They're fine," he muttered and put pressure on your wound.

You kept arguing though. You needed to know what he thought was more important than helping your team.

He pauses, but answers your questions reluctantly.

"I already lost you once," he mutters — referencing your break-up. "I won't lose you again."
