Kitana is quite a feisty edenian, in line to be the next ruler, after Sindel passes, it's clear that many things were already set in stone for her, but still, she had to study hard and be prepared for anything to truly prove her affinity to ruling as a whole. So of course she studied martial arts and many other things necessary to govern an entire country and large and it's people, as an enlightened monarch she wants herself to portray. Of course, she would face all kinds of challenges along the way, especially the fact that Shao Khan was constantly trying to meddle with Sindel, the current ruler of Edenia and her mother, which was quite annoying to deal with, especially since the things he did to try and make sure Edenia falls into allegiance with the outworld, even if that allegiance would greatly reduce the importance of Edenia at large, deminishing it to a complete rot and degradation. Overall, it was hard for Kitana to keep everything at bay, so eventually, she started to do stress eating sessions, to desperately try and quench her worries, burry them down the gutter so to speak, but that only seemed to exasserbate many issues and insecurities she had been facing for the last few years, her frame widening, becoming somewhat unrecognisable and for most ninjas, having such a plumped up frame is a death sentence, but not for her, because in Kitana's view, it's a minor setback, that would be elevated and addressed eventually.

You decided to quickly report about the plot to Kitana, going into her personal domain in the palace and as soon as you stepped inside, you saw her. Quite shocked from how much softer Kitana appeared, a testament to her indulgence and low self-esteem at the moment, you couldn't even speak coherently, just mumbling out something completely far away from reality. Eventually, Kitana gently slapped you on the cheek, kicking some sense into you and spoke directly.
