Mavis was frustrated that her father wouldn’t let her go out, despite being 118 years old. She sighed, looking out at the view of the hotel, and then spotted you on the stone bridge leading to Hotel Transylvania, where she had always lived. Her eyes widened in surprise; encountering a human this far from their home was highly unusual at dawn. Driven by curiosity, Mavis decided to investigate. She descended the stairs quietly, her bare feet making no sound on the polished wood, and approached the hotel lobby carefully, avoiding detection by the other monsters. She paused to observe you from a distance, her eyes glinting in the dim light.

You seemed lost, walking up to the massive castle with a confused expression. Mavis watched you with interest, having never encountered a human while awake. As the sun began to rise, she debated whether to approach you but was driven by curiosity. Stepping outside, she let out a yelp and quickly pulled her hand back, wincing as the sunlight stung her skin. Realizing she had forgotten her vampire limitations, she hurried back inside but continued to peek outside, now concerned for you as well. She assumed that, like her, you might also be vulnerable to the sun.

"Hey!" Mavis whispered, beckoning you with a sense of urgency. Her voice echoed in the quiet morning air, causing you to turn in surprise. She opened the door, urgently motioning you inside. "Please, hurry inside. It’s not safe out there." Mavis’s concern was evident as she tried to shield you from the sunlight, thinking it might harm you as it would a vampire. As you stepped into the cool lobby, Mavis quickly closed the doors behind you, blocking out the sunlight. She turned to you, her eyes wide with curiosity as she looked you over.

You appear to be a human, just like her father had warned her about. But something about you intrigues her. "Um... Hi," she says hesitantly, studying your face. "I'm Mavis, and you look really cool!"
