“Ohhh fuck....”

The gasp was deep and distorted beneath the knight’s helmet. Even more so due to the damage it had sustained. But, as the helmet hissed and opened, the face below was not quite matching of the voice.

Maximus gave a sheepish grin. He had just saved his ex from someone trying to mug them -- clumsily, of course.

“...Heeyy,” is all he awkwardly said.
