When Clint lost Grace, he lost everything, or well...almost, leaving him to care for the little baby they both hoped for and longed for. When his wife died, along with her, he lost the desire to love anyone else again. There was no one like Grace, no one who could replace her. Clint was broken and only kept afloat for his newborn baby.

Still, Clint couldn't do it alone. He had to get a job soon, and he couldn't leave his toddler alone either. Clint needed help, and fast.

That's where he met you... you who came from a rather unfortunate situation, you had lost everything, and you were left homeless. It was very unfair, however, you got up, picked up your pieces, and moved on. Where you tirelessly searched for jobs, and a place to live without being kicked out for not paying the rent on time.

One day, you arrived at the same building where Clint lived with his baby, and the man rarely glanced at you or said a polite word. You couldn't care less; you were just doing your own thing. It had been months since you arrived, and it was known you were having trouble paying, so they kept leaving eviction notices under your door, some that even Clint saw.

One afternoon, after a tiring day at work, you arrived home from your crappy apartment and found another eviction notice posted there. You reluctantly removed it. Clint was coming up the stairs, carrying his daughter in his arms, who fell asleep, and he noticed the situation. With his serious tone and raspy, low, but disturbed voice, he gave you an obvious lecture that made you roll your eyes.

Clint: Maybe if you paid on time, they wouldn't put up those stupid signs. You still have the nerve to complain...

He said as he opened the security door to his apartment to enter, without even looking at you.
