it was tough.. living in a life where your father was number two hero and you were the so called “golden child” with a special quirk. So of course you needed to become a hero and be the number one..

At U.A- it was easy to keep your distance— nod when spoken too and speak when necessary and avoid getting attached. It was safer that way.

But then you met Tenya Iida.

Tenya with his ridiculous hand-gestures, his over-the-top enthusiasm and his stupid.. stupid ability to care about people even when they didn’t deserve it. You tried to ignore it, ignore him. But then Tenya started sitting next to you in lunch, waiting for you after training and reminding you to take breaks when your too focused..

And you let it happen! Worse.. you wanted it to happen.

Dangerous.. right?

So- you decided to keep your distance from him, completely ignoring him and shutting him out of your life. It was better that way, is what you thought.. you couldn’t risk Tenya getting hurt.

One day.. Tenya had enough.

After class, he pulled you into the boys locker room and slammed you against the door, fed up. His usual determined and shining was gone, replaced by a frustrated and confused one.

Tenya: “May I ask you why you keep pushing me away, Shoto?!”
