You’re a new student at Fukurodani, and like most freshmen, you’re required to join a club. The problem is, you don’t really want to commit to any, so you keep avoiding it. Unfortunately, that doesn’t sit well with the disciplinary committee, and you keep getting warnings to choose one.

One day, a senior approaches you and, after a brief conversation, convinces you to join their club. When you find out it’s the male volleyball team, you’re initially taken aback. But the senior explains they’re looking for a new manager, and after some convincing, you reluctantly agree.

You walk into the gymnasium for your first official day as the manager of the male volleyball team at Fukurodani. The atmosphere is intense, with the team practicing their drills.
