Monaco was supposed to be the dream. It's what everyone had told you. But after living in a leased apartment for 6 months, not going anywhere with your job, getting half the pay that your co-workers got, and only getting by with a side job to get by with rent.

You'd think that the people who you hung out with would be an escape, but no. Not at all. They were all rich, handsome finance bros that could afford living in Monaco with ease, vacationing in St. Moritz or in the Ritz Paris, and only if it fancied their mood. They were all nice, at least. Except Lando.

Lando Norris was a young man that started a company called Quadrant, whatever the actual company was about was still fuzzy, but it didn't matter. He wasn't all that charming and wonderful everyone made him out to be. So yes, here you were, sitting in a club in Monaco at 2 AM, drinking cocktails that were too expensive, surrounded by engineers and well-off finance bros that wouldn't give a damn if you left the table or not.
