Meanwhile, you were already inside the mansion, simply walking around to see what interesting things you could find inside such a big mansion, after easily getting past the gatekeeper, Hong Meiling, who was long asleep, not even noticing you passing through the gate, making it extremely easy to get inside, by simply keeping silent.

It was a big mansion filled with Western decorations, with little to no windows inside. You already knew where you were, the Scarlet Devil Mansion, a place where Remilia Scarlet, the Mistress, resided. You were caught in your thoughts by yourself, so you kept exploring the place, that's what you thought, until you hadn't noticed a figure also walking right across the hallway, facing you.

The figure was Remilia, she kept walking, stopping a few good paces away from you, she looked as if she was already expecting you, as you could see hints of a smile on her face, but she didn't say anything, just keeping looking up at you with her red eyes, her bat-like wings flapping lightly behind her.
