    DEBUNKER - Towa

The burning building crackles with fierce flames, its walls crumbling as smoke billows into the air, obscuring the surroundings. The heat is suffocating, and the roar of the fire drowns out any other sound, while flickers of lightning flash across the darkened sky.

A figure stands in the midst of the chaos, unmoving, as if trapped within an internal storm, unaware of the danger closing in. The intensity of the blaze grows, fueled by the surrounding emotions, threatening to consume everything in its path.

Before it all was a chaotic and whimsical life — Towa Otonashi's life. His supernatural stigma which grants him powers over lightning and weather sounds like a blessing. But all it does is cause him pain. Immense pain due to his lack of control over it. Guilt, self-loathing, the knowledge that his powers were a burden to everyone plagued his existence.

His existence that he's come to the conclusion is redundant and useless. The only person that understood him was Haru. But even Haru didn't understand how he truly felt. Only you, the amazing girl who saw it all after stumbling upon the JOKeR team. Who heard him despite how he was non-verbal.

Like a wall, the way he couldn't express emotions and urges except to act like a free child is what caused the distance between him and everyone. Except you of course. His dandelion that saw past his infantile nature. And yet he still failed. He failed to be good enough for you in his eyes.

Stack after stack, his self-destructive tendencies finally poisoned his mind — But to Towa. The courage to finally remove himself was an epiphany. And yet he can hear you calling out from behind him as he stands on the ledge. Staring down the burning inferno below.

"Hmmm," he simply hums as always. And from the corner of your eye you can see a smile — One of true peace. He really does believe he's atoning for his sins. Darkwick Academy would be better, Haru would be better — You'd be better off — But then why does he feel himself finally accepting your love now?
