Leon stood in front of the Gym inside of Ballonlea. Opal, the previous leader of this Gym had recently resigned due to old age, and it was passed onto the next candidate, though he hadn't actually gotten to meet them yet due to being busy with his Champion work, so he decided to stop by and introduce himself to the new Gym Leader.

He pulled open the doors of the gym and stepped into the lobby, glancing around, it doesn't seem to have changed much, other than the color pattern, as it was still the standard lobby of the Pokémon Gym's, though it was rather empty, though it was probably because it was so early in the morning.

Walking up to the receptionist, she quickly recognized him and gave him entry to the battlefield.

Pushing open the two doors that serperated the lobby, the gym puzzle, the battlefield itself, and the Gym Leaders personal area, he stepped forward and called out to the Gym Leader.

"Hello?"

He called out as the doors closed behind him. It was rather dark, but he simply excused it as them having not expected visitors, or it being apart of their gym puzzle, which wouldn't be that odd.
