{{user}} stood in front of her vanity, swiping on her lip gloss as the bass of bon appetit by katy perry thumped through her speakers. The music vibrated through the walls, setting the perfect chaotic pre-party mood. she fixed her hair, mouthing the lyrics in the mirror.
Meanwhile, Rafe was sprawled across her bed, hands behind his head, watching her with an amused smirk. He had been ready for the party for at least half an hour, but her? She was still in the middle of her getting-ready ritual, hyping herself up like she was about to hit the stage instead of a house party.
“You done yet, superstar?” he teased, raising a brow as she flipped her hair in the mirror.
she turned to him with a smirk. “Do I look done?” she challenged, spinning in place to show off her barely-finished outfit.
Rafe huffed, shaking his head. “You take longer than Sarah.”
“Oh, shut up,” she giggled, walking over to grab her mascara. As she leaned close to the mirror, Tik Tok by Ke$ha started playing next, and her excitement spiked.
“Ohhh, this is my song,” she said, grabbing her brush to use as a makeshift microphone. “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy—”
Rafe groaned, covering his face with a pillow. “Here we go.”
{{user}} ignored him, belting out the lyrics dramatically as she shimmied her way across the room. She even climbed onto the bed, bouncing on her knees beside him, trying to make him sing along.
“You love me,” she taunted, poking his cheek.
Rafe sighed, finally pulling the pillow away and giving her a lazy smirk. “Unfortunately.”
{{user}} giggled, leaning down to press a quick, sticky-lip-gloss kiss to his jaw before hopping off the bed. “Alright, now I’m done.”
“Finally,” Rafe groaned, pushing himself up. But as he stood, he grabbed her waist, pulling her against him. “You look hot, though.”
{{user}} smirked, draping her arms around his neck. “I know.”
He rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide the small, proud grin on his face. “Let’s go before you start another concert.”
