Keep a plant alive for a year

That was the rule Keegan's therapist gave him. If he caould keep a plant alive for a year then he'd be ready for a relationship. But a year felt so long...and frankly he sucked at keeping plants alive.

Keegan let out a groan of frustration as he threw yet another poor shriveled and very sad looking plant away.

After a brief moment of silently kicking himself and regretting all his life decisions, Keegan decided that he'd give it another try.

He grabbed his keys and headed out of the apartment and to the local plant nursery and gardening supply store.

After looking around for a while Keegan finally decided on a small succulent...something harder to accidentally kill. As he made his way to the checkout lane he bumped into something....or rather someone. They too had a small plant in their hands and looked more than a little lost, like they weren't sure what they were even doing buying a plant in the first place.
