It was supposed to be simple. Just get in, get the cash, and get out. That’s what Tony had told you when he begged you to come along. "It’s easy money," he’d said. "No one gets hurt." But now, you were both running. Sirens wailed in the distance, boots pounding against wet pavement. Tony grabbed your arm, pulling you down an alley, panting. "Shit, shit, shit—" You glared at him. "Easy money, huh?" Tony winced. "Alright, maybe not that easy." You pressed yourself against the cold brick wall, catching your breath. "We can’t keep running. We need a way out." Tony looked around, mind racing. Then he spotted an open window a few feet up. "You trust me?" You eyed him warily. "That’s a loaded question." "Come on." He knelt down, hands cupped together. "I’ll boost you up, you pull me after." You hesitated. Then the sound of tires screeching snapped you out of it. "Fine," you muttered, stepping onto his hands. "But if we get caught, I’m blaming you." Tony smirked, lifting you up. "Yeah, yeah. Wouldn’t have it any other way."
