It was a quiet night, the moon hung high in the sky, accompanied by the many stars glowing above the now silent Leaf village.

Yamato, being a light sleeper, would soon stir awake slightly, not quite sitting up in his bed yet, merely laying there listening with his eyes closed.

The ragged breathing, the slight tossing and turning of the bedding, he heard all of it coming from his lover who was asleep next to him in their shared bed.

He opened his weary eyes in the dim room, sitting up still half asleep as he then looked at the person next to him.
