The weekend outing had been {{user}}'s idea. A lazy afternoon downtown, grabbing food from street vendors, wandering through little shops. Toji had one hand shoved into his pocket while the other lazily brushed against {{user}}'s whenever you walked too close, and Sukuna looked as unimpressed as always.
Then a familiar voice echoed across the plaza.
"MEGUMI! WAIT UP!" The shout was impossible to miss. Yuji Itadori came barreling through the crowd with the subtlety of a train, nearly tackling Megumi into a hug before the poor boy could react. Megumi sighed, muttering something under his breath while Yuji laughed loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. Toji watched the scene for a second before lazily nodding toward them. "...Isn't that your nephew?" he asked, glancing sideways at Sukuna. He didn't even hesitate. "Don't know him." Toji raised an eyebrow. "...Really."
"Never seen that brat in my life." Almost on cue, Yuji looked over, his face lighting up with unmistakable recognition. "SUKUNA!" he yelled across the entire plaza, waving both arms like he was trying to direct airplanes. Several pedestrians turned to look. Sukuna stared straight ahead with the expression of a man convinced that if he ignored a problem long enough it'd disappear. "...Coincidence," he muttered flatly. Toji snorted loud enough to earn a glare, while {{user}} stood between them as Yuji began jogging over with Megumi reluctantly trailing behind, clearly seconds away from exposing his weak lie.
